Mayor of Derby's Charity Cricket Competition 2002

Entries for both the Jackson Cup and the Butterley Cup are slow in coming in, and clubs are reminded that the last date for entries is 3rd April, with the draw due to take place on Friday 5th April at the Lund Pavilion at 7.15 pm.

This season there has been an important change in the rules of the competition. The Jackson Cup will be limited to teams from the Derbyshire Premier League and the Derbyshire County League Division 1, or equivalent Leagues. The Butterley Cup will be open to all teams below Division 1 of the County League. So Rolls Royce, who won the Butterley Cup last year may enter the same competition this season.
