Results 11 July: Swarkestone 102-2 (J Guthrie 37, N Thompson 42 not out) bt Mickleover Sport B 58 all out. A 70 run stand between Guthrie and Thompson was the highlight of the Swarkestone innings. Only S Lomas with 16 reached double figures in the Mickleover reply. Rolls Royce 115-3 bt Brailsford 47 all out – no result sheet. Derby Congs 101 ( M Butoy 43 , K Afsal 34 L Smith 3-14, M McKay 3-17) bt Mickleover Ltg 84 all out ( M Ammed 3-8. A close match played in wet conditions in which Butoy and Afsal batted with great dash for Congs. After being given a good start by the consistent McKay (27) the Lightning innings subsided to the accurate Congs attack in which Ammed returned the best figures of 3-8 in two overs.

Results 11 July: Quarndon 96-6 bt Duffield 84-8 by 12 runs, Darley Abbey 82-9 bt Mickleover Sports A 43-9: In difficult batting conditions the Abbey were made to struggle for their runs with only Robinson(25)Hall (16*) and Gwilliam(19) reaching double figures. However Duffield found things even more difficult and finished well short of their target. T Forrester took 3-8 for the Abbey.

Results 15 July: Little Eaton 95-7 tied with Brailsford 95 all out. A thrilling match which went down to the 4th ball of the last over. Batting first Little Eaton scored steadily with P Gaskin reaching 25. W Wilson with 45 was outstanding for Brailsford and looked to have steered his side to victory before Carrezedo struck in the last over with the scores level. Results 15 July: The final played match in Group B saw Denby (119-4) retain their unbeaten record against S. Wingfield ( 118-6). For Wingfield the consistent Shuttleworth (38) and A Young (33) batted well but with D Thompson (48*) leading the way Denby reached the required total in the 18th over. Neither Matlock or Shipley Hall were able to raise sides.
