Yorkshire win Pro Arch Trophy

Yorkshire put their first trophy of the season into Headingley's Trophy cabinet when they won the Pro Arch Trophy following a four wicket win over the UAE. This was a particularly pleasing performance from the Tykes with Andrew Gale, Greg Wood and Mark Lawson all coming to the fore.
Naved back on

The on off saga of Rana Naved joining Yorkshire now appears to be resolved and after protracted negociations between the ECB and Pakistan cricket board Naved is now set to join Yorkshire subject to being granted a work permit, which as he has been playing regularly for Sussex should be a formaility.
Narrow defeat in Dubai

Yorkshire suffered their first Pro Arch defeat when falling 9 runs short against Sussex. Thight Yorkshire bowling had restricted Sussex to 213 for 8 in their 50 overs. Two wickets for Bresnan and Pyrah. In reply Sussex restricted Yorkshire to 200 for 9. Craig White top scored with 40, Brophy and Rashid both made 31 and Lyth weighed in with 28.
Yorkshire impress again

Yorkshire's fine start to the Pro-Arch Trophy continued when they defeated Somerset by 51 runs. A fine all round display by Adil Rashid played a major factor in the victory. He made 35 not out from 40 deliveries and then took 2 for 23 in his ten overs.
International Roses win

Yorkshire got their pre-season tour to Dubai off to the best possible start when they defeated the old enemy in the first ever roses game played abroad. Two of last seasons limited over starts played leading roles, Anthony McGrath top scoring with 41 and David Wainwright taking three wickets.
Dubai bound

Yorkshire have left for their pre-season tour of Dubai. Ex Corridor man James Buttler is accompanying them and I spoke to him about his roll on the tour. Yorkshire's new White Rose TV is the main reason for James traveling with the tour party. He will be covering the tour for White Rose TV, regular highlights and interviews will appear on the official website.
Yorkshire announce new media partner

Yorkshire have announced that Yorkshire radio have become the club's new official media partner. The radio station has covered Yorkshire cricket since it was launched in 2006. This partnership will give Yorkshire Radio the right to provide updates from all 1st Team games and will further strengthen the existing relationship.
Quite off season, well almost!

Just when Yorkshire cricket fans thought that they were about to experience the rare event of a quite off season, the rebel Indian cricket leagues have come along and all of a sudden Yorkshire would appear to have lost both overseas players for the coming season.
New cricket blog launched

The Corridor of Uncertainty are pleased to announce the launch of a new cricket blog The Last of the Summer Whine. Claimed to be written by Len the Yorkshire Kitman the blog will appeal not only to Yorkshire cricket fans but also the wider cricketing public.
Get Yorkshire on the Radio

Yorkshire fans site the Corridor of Uncertainty are re-launching their campaign to get Yorkshire on the Radio. Last seasons campaign helped towards the club starting some radio commentary but coverage of Yorkshire continues to be ignored by the BBC.
